The famed white sand & incredible blue sea of 100 Islands -Seychelles is paradise place for many tourists to Africa. It is one of the best destinations for honeymoon holidays, family adventures, anniversaries celebrations, weddings among others. At Seychelles, Nature welcomes every guest since most Islands are nature reserves. Some few travelers experience the Beauty of living in their own island but others enjoy the escape of the real nature world day and night with other guest.

The Seychelles Tourism Board’s will extend the idea of leisure in nature to Ireland through a marketing venture into the Irish market spearheaded by UK and Ireland Office. The travel trade launched with a series of Train and Dine events – in Cork, Limerick and Belfast is a way of bringing Seychelles close to the Ireland citizens.

The Irish Travel agents warmly welcome the Seychelles Tourism Board Team (Tinaz Wadia and Eloise Vidot from the Seychelles Tourism Board, Wendy Tan – Berjaya Hotels Seychelles, Justin Purves – Banyan Tree Seychelles, Ash Behari – the Hotel Coco De Mer and Black Parrot Suites, David Rakotopare – Enchanted Island and Debbie Flanagan) as they re-entered the Irish market with outstanding series of events and products to the door step of the Irish Travel Trade.

Seychelles had held several destination marketing events in Dublin having its first time penetration into the heart of Ireland. ‘It was most satisfying to see the turn out, interest and support that we received from the Irish Travel Trade’, though we held the same marketing events in Dublin said Miss Wadia. She then added that many agents supported sales to the destination in view of the excellent air access to the Seychelles from Dublin, Ireland – as Etihad and Emirates fly twice daily from the Irish capital (4 flights per day) – via their respective hubs in the Middle East and then twice a day on to Mahe.

Due to the Nature beauty and leisurely island setting of Seychelles many Irish tourists are now eager to take holidays in a safe new destination in Africa. Besides all agents who attended the marketing events vowed to market the Seychelles more & more as an affordable destination which suits every budget year round travelers.
